I scaled a print and fulfillment group across five countries, steered it back to profit, and set up its next leadership.

My story

Twenty years, seven chapters

What each stage added: design, operations, digital and leadership.

2003 – 07

Designer & photographer

Started behind the design desk and the camera in Sydney and London, for brands like Eurostar and Sony BMG.

2007 – 11

Co-founder, print tech

Co-founded IDT Systems with four people, the first company in what became the Nanoco group. Design, color checks, every sample, every pitch.

2011 – 18

Operations at scale

Moved to the US and opened WOYC, our fulfillment site, from scratch, printing phone and tablet accessories for global brands. Up to 6K units a day at peak.

2018 – 22

Digital platforms

Took the workflow digital, then from 2019 led Hatch as CEO: the platform that let creators and small sellers sign up and start selling.

2022

Startup & brand

Co-founded Glateum and took it through Milwaukee’s FOR-M incubator, shaping its brand, message and plan.

2022 – 26

Global CEO

Stepped up as Global CEO of Nanoco after a sudden leadership change, restructured back to profit, then set up the next leadership.

First up, who are you?

How I work

Calm, real and straight with people

Calm is a strategy

Calm, methodical leadership carries a team through the hard stretches. It’s how we came back from a sudden leadership change to profitable growth.

Patience

Listen first

Most friction comes from people feeling unheard. I listen first, then help everyone land on one decision.

Kindness · Empathy

Lead as yourself

You don’t need a front of power and control to run a business. People respond to an owner who is real, and who owns their calls.

Authenticity · Accountability

Straight talk

Say what’s true, plainly and early. Clear communication saves more time than any system.

Honesty · Transparency
The people side

Leading teams across five countries sent me into psychology and neuroscience. Over time I’ve learned to read what isn’t said: actions over words, who’s really listening, and what people need but won’t ask for. Now I’m training as a coach, to help good people grow into leaders.
